All the ponds to the right of the access road. This water offers some very good bream fishing along with carp and tench, the bream in here are big. This is a day ticket water although a key is required for access. (day tickets available)

There are 43 pegs on this fishery and offers the angler a variety of options. It is a superb match venue with parking at every peg in the top field (Pegs 18 – 43). Good roach and dace can be taken on both stick and waggler floats. For the specimen angler there are large barbel and bream to be had on the feeder with some excellent carp and pike also to be had. This is a day ticket water although a key is required for access. Match bookings are also available and the water is subject to the closed season.

All pegs above Clifton Bridge up to the Grove farm entrance plus a few pegs below the bridge. This is a relatively shallow water with good pace that lends itself to barbel. The pegs just above the bridge are well known for the big barbel into double figures that live there. (day tickets available) the water is subject to the closed season.

This fishery offers 20 pegs of a varying degree with parking behind most pegs.. The upper pegs are average depth but hold big bream to double figures whilst the downstream pegs are shallower and hold big carp and barbel (day tickets available) the water is subject to the closed season.

15 pegs available for both match and pleasure anglers from the end of the first meadow to 100 yards above Hazelford weir. The Federation does NOT have fishing rights of the first meadow. Noted for its stick float fishing for the quality roach that still occupy this stretch of water although there are some large bream and barbel to be had on feeder tactics. (day tickets available) the water is subject to the closed season.

River Trent, Thrumpton. NG11 OAZ

Two fields of river bank downstream from Thrumpton ferry (second & third meadow). This area of the river boasts some big barbel,big chub and carp.Best catches come to feeder tactics. It also offers great roach fishing in the autumn. (Match bookings available). (Members Only) the water is subject to the closed season.

River Trent, Carlton on Trent. NG23 6LP

20 pegs of tidal water commencing 550 yards upstream of the beck. This is a tidal water and is primarily a feeder venue with good bream and barbel filling the nets.  The water is subject to the closed season.

The second meadow down stream of Gunthorpe lock. Classic Trent fishing with all methods although this area still offers some big Barbel and chub to feeder tactics. (day tickets available) the water is subject to the closed season.

This is a brilliant section of the River Trent and is our latest acquisition situated on the Ferry Field in Wilford at the Moderns Rugby Club close to the Ferry Boat Pub.
