River Trent, Clifton Bridge. NG7 2SA.

All pegs above Clifton Bridge up to the Grove farm entrance plus a few pegs below the bridge. This is a relatively shallow water with good pace that lends itself to barbel. The pegs just above the bridge are well known for the big barbel into double figures that live there. (day tickets available) the water is subject to the closed season.

How to get there:-

From the island on the north side of the bridge take the turning onto Lenton lane, where the lane turns sharp right keep left and pass through the gate,  Park under the bridge and walk to the pegs up and down stream. No vehicles to be driven upstream.
